IAM UK NxtGen Winner - 2024
OSCAR HECKSTALL-SMITH
Here's a summary of Oscar's presentation from the IAM UK Conference for which he won the award -
“My submission covered a major change project I have worked on with social housing associations, helping them shift from a reactive maintenance approach to a strategic, whole-life asset management model aligned to ISO 55001. By developing decision-support tools, reviewing asset strategies, and embedding whole-life value principles, I helped deliver measurable financial savings and drive cultural change across the organisation. This work has demonstrated the significant benefits of proactive asset management within the social housing sector.”
