NxtGen Leads

The NxtGen leads are responsible for the NxtGen initiatives in our chapters.  They are all dedicated international volunteers who collaborate to share best practices. If you are living in a region where there isn’t a NxtGen lead, please do not hesitate to get in contact.

Charlotte Stewart

Role: Co-Chair NxtGen UK

Biography: Charlotte is a Strategic Account Executive at Samotics, managing the commercial and financial relationships for all UK customer accounts. She works with asset-intensive industrial organisations to apply smart condition monitoring solutions that improve the daily experience of frontline operations teams and enable confident, data-driven decision making. Previously, Charlotte spent five years at Anglian Water delivering asset management and transformation programmes, leading the implementation of Condition Based Monitoring from early trials through to a fully embedded programme aligned with Minimum Asset Standards. Charlotte brings a strong focus on practical, high-quality asset data and a people-centred, customer-led approach to asset management. Her role as Co-Chair of the IAM NxtGen network, reflects her commitment to making careers in asset management more accessible to early-career professionals. Charlotte holds a Master’s degree in Chemistry from the University of Sheffield, is a Future Leader with the Foundation for Science and Technology, and was the NxtGen winner at both the UK Chapter and Global Asset Management Excellence Awards in 2023.

Katterinne Fleming

Role: IAM Director of DEI and Chair NxtGen USA

Biography: Katty is a Principal Asset Management at Arcadis and specializes in guiding municipal agencies of all sizes with asset management needs. Katty enables asset management knowledge transfer through well-developed presentation skills and has assisted clients nationally and internationally in the water industry her entire career for the past 15 years. With her talented relationship skills, she is able to establish credibility and garner trust from diverse populations and staff at all levels when it comes to get quick buy-ins. She has served as the Chair of the Southern California Institute of Asset Management Branch fostering asset management knowledge using best practices and industry standards. Her passionate and driven personality have allowed her to serve and give back to her community using her Asset Management skills. She is currently a new member of the IAM USA Executive Board and serves as the Director for DEI and NexGen.

Meet Saiya

Role: Chair NxtGen India

Biography: Meet completed his post graduation in Civil Engineering (specialization: Infrastructure Engineering and Management) from Indian Institute of Technology, Kanpur in July 2023 with institute recognition for academic excellence. His MTech thesis focused on incorporating economies of scale in top-down pavement asset management framework where Meet worked on new ways to make maintenance decisions for pavement assets that would leverage benefits of economies of scale in decision making process. Meet completed his internship at Headquarters, Bureau of Indian Standards(BIS) where he looked at incorporating sustainability in codal provisions. Meet holds a Bachelors in Civil Engineering from NMIMS, Mumbai. He joined AECOM - Rail (Bridges and Structures) team in Bangalore as ECP post his Masters. He is passionate about asset management and digital transformation and hopes to engage young professionals in the industry.

Quincy Abel

Role: Chair NxtGen Netherlands

Biography: Quincy is a consultant in asset and project management at Oxand Netherlands, an international asset management consultancy company with branches in France, Switzerland, and The Netherlands. He is the newest member of the IAM NxtGen Netherlands chapter and is passionate about growing that young asset management professional network. Words that best describe him in the workplace are: “enthusiastic”, “curious” and “analytical”. Most recently he has worked with the Municipality of Amsterdam on Risk Management and is currently working on configuration management at a large infrastructure project on the Amsterdam Ring. Solving complex challenges is what drives him most. Quincy holds a bachelor's degree in Industrial Engineering and Management and a Masters degree in Complex Systems Engineering and Management from Delft University of Technology. His specialty is Systems Engineering, but is also passionate about the energy transition and how it fits within asset management thinking.

Eiman Al Darmaki

Role: Chair NxtGen United Arab Emirates

Biography: Eiman Al Darmaki is an experienced municipal engineering professional with over 15 years of expertise in infrastructure asset management within Abu Dhabi’s government sector. As the Head of the Infrastructure Asset Section at Al Ain City Municipality, she leads the development of short- and long-term maintenance plans and oversees the evaluation of road network conditions to support data-driven decision-making. Her work has guided multimillion-dirham maintenance programs covering over 15,000 lane kilometers of roads and contributed to achieving ISO 55001 certification. Eiman holds Master’s and Bachelor’s degrees in Civil Engineering from the United Arab Emirates University, along with IAM, CAMA, and ISO 55001:2014 Internal Auditor & Implementation certifications.

Liz Palmera-Nunez

Role: Chair NxtGen Canada

Biography: Liz Palmera-Nunez is the Manager of Asset Management at Newfoundland Power where she leads asset management initiatives across the organization, ensuring good practices are identified and translated into meaningful action. This includes developing comprehensive asset plans and strategies involving inventory management, condition monitoring, and risk assessment. Liz works closely with multidisciplinary teams to support informed decision-making around capital investments, ensuring the company’s assets align with long-term strategic priorities. With over 15 years of experience in the electric utility sector, Liz has advanced through roles of increasing seniority and responsibility. She has successfully led teams in project design, management, execution, construction, commissioning, and contractor supervision. Her expertise includes managing multi-million-dollar projects, developing engineering designs and construction standards, and creating equipment and material specifications. Liz is passionate about asset management and about inspiring young professionals to explore the diverse and rewarding careers available in the field.
